Tek I-Flow is a dynamically aligned Workflow Management System that can be used to manage workforce productivity, Contractual Service Level compliance as well as provide user input data reporting, financial reporting, invoicing, project planning, capacity planning as well as document management requirements.

The underlying technology for Tek I-Flow is open source components such as Linux, PHP, Java, MySQL. However, there are plans to port the product to both an Unix environment as well as Microsoft .Net platform.

The benefits of using I-Flow for customers are:

  • Manage and track overall work output and productivity for Business Process Outsourcing operations (BPO). However, the product can be adapted to other non-BPO environments as well with the use of appropriate templates.
  • Obtain individual worker productivity for users operating in a remote region. In addition, Clients can see how a specific project is being delivered against the specific Service Level Requirements (SLA) set by the client.
  • Obtain invoicing and can make electronic payments (future release). Financial invoicing and payment history will be made available under the Finance section of the I-Flow portal.
  • Document Imaging and availability of source documents in conjunction with the Queries encountered by the remote delivery teams. The ability to see the source documents is a powerful tool that allows the workflow between the client and the remote production site to be enhanced and results in increased overall productivity and reduces the number of queries that remain unanswered.

The benefits of using I-Flow internally (for the delivery company):

  • Increased internal staff productivity to more accurate tracking of productivity of individual personnel.
  • Increased productivity of Queries resulting in increased overall productivity due to fewer unanswered queries.
  • Knowledge Portal can assist in improving the workflow and provide more accurate processing due to enhanced pre-commit transaction processing. Again, the content of the knowledge portal can be adapted based on the type of work and content that is being delivered.
  • Invoicing and payment processing can be increase cash flow and reduce the number of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Capacity Planning and Forecasting module can help the CFO and Production Planner more accurate forecast demand and plan resources accordingly.
